Lake Lansing Rd to Grand River Ave between Wood Rd and US-127.

Organization History

This neighborhood organization was formed in 2000 to ensure that residents had a say in the development of Eastwood Towne Center. Even though it has been years since the formation of Eastwood the group still has meetings to keep neighbors informed about happenings and also to give neighbors a chance to speak about the neighborhood.

The neighborhood association organizes a annual yard sale in June where all neighbors are invited to take part. Occasionally the group also has a picnics to encourage neighbors to get to know each other.

Neighborhood Issues

The neighborhood association currently does not have any major issues they are focused on. Instead, they encourage neighbors to spend time together and get to know each other.

Why would someone want to live in your neighborhood?

This neighborhood is ideal for families since it is very quiet and safe. While it is located right off of Lake Lansing Road, there is not much through traffic in the neighborhood. The neighborhood also has a very low crime rate. The neighborhood features Tollgate Park and Slater Park, which are both beautiful areas for enjoyment during the whole year. Also, with Eastwood so close, there are many great restaurants and stores close to home.
